Accounting Associate

Overview
A typical day in this Accounting Associate role with a growing organization will include a variety of hands-on accounting and administrative responsibilities. You will support core daily functions as well as monthly and quarterly reporting activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable processing
• Administer and process payroll
• Prepare and post month-end journal entries, including balance reconciliations and general ledger analysis
• Assist with month-end closing activities
• Perform account reconciliations
• Prepare financial reports and summaries as requested by leadership

Who You Are

• You have a solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles
• You are proficient in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP
• You are highly detail-oriented, accurate, and organized
• You excel at multitasking and consistently meet deadlines
• You bring experience or exposure to various business environments or industries
• You maintain strict confidentiality and hold yourself to high professional standards
• You have an Accounting degree from an accredited institution
• You bring a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a collaborative spirit
